Expressionism is defined as a style of painting, music, or drama in which the artist or writer seeks to express the inner world of emotion
rather than external reality.
In late 2018 I was inspired by Neil Burnell's "Moonshine" photo (https://www.neilburnell.com/) and later
"Helter Skelter" to dig deeper into the world of Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) combined with Multiple Exposures (ME), I found myself watching some YouTube videos from Andrew S Gray
(https://andrewsgray.photography/) and was very quickly captivated by the possibilities of the new techniques.
Though I was already familar with ICM, ME was a totally new concept to me, so I was keen to try to retain and portray a "spirit" of a location by keeping a familar shape within the abstract.
